Lifts and ropeways are one of the most upcoming and developing areas for steel wire rope use in Russia. Every year the number of facilities in the ski centers and mountain regions, urban agglomerations and mining sites, which use ropeways for the transport of raw materials and passenger cableways, is growing.
Different types of ropeways, as well as a wide range of their applications, require an individual approach in the design and manufacture of ropes. Various conditions of each object require careful selection of the rope type, bearing elements, core material and termination methods. We involve the competence of our international partners who have experience in implementing many projects to work in the field of overhead line ropes with special demands for safety and sustainability.
